Terms & Conditions

We take great care in making sure all dogs on a particular walk and those whilst boarding get along with each other.  Cancelling at the last minute results in a significant amount of admin and rearranging of plans so the following cancellation periods and fees apply:

Dog Walking

We require a 12 hour cancellation period for all walks. If your dog's walk is cancelled with less than 12 hours notice, a £5 cancellation fee will apply.


After many years of experience of working with animals and running a home boarding business, we have learnt that not all dogs are suitable for home boarding. 


Because your dog is going to be living in our home with other dogs and young children, we can only accept dogs which are friendly family pets, good natured and don’t have any behavioural issues.  Our home is a calm and relaxing environment which your pet is sure to enjoy!

We request that all dogs:

  • Are fully house trained and continent, with no exceptions

  • have a basic level of obedience training and a good recall and drop / give command

  • are well socialised with other dogs

And we cannot accept dogs that:

  • howl or bark excessively

  • show aggression to other dogs or people under any circumstances

  • mouth, snap or guard (bed / toy / food)

  • are males that have not been castrated

  • are destructive or chew furniture

  • are less than 1 year old*

  • are bitches in season*


* We can, on occasions, accommodate these dogs, but only if we have no other dogs staying, as we find it impacts on the calm, relaxed environment we provide.  Please enquire to discuss if this is possible. Additional charges may apply.


It is important to note that any dogs which are discovered to be unsuitable during their stay may in extreme cases be relocated to kennels or incur further charges to cover damage or additional care.

What to bring with you:


  • An up to date vaccination card (your dog must be vaccinated - both booster and Kennel Cough - and be up to date with flea and wormer treatments)

  • Food

  • Collar & Lead

  • Bedding and any 'comforters'

The list below identifies what extras guests typically bring with them.  Some bring the minimum whilst others want their dog to have all their own toys, bowls etc.  But don't worry if you forget something, we have spares!


  • Treats, bowls, toys, brush

Drop off & Collection time:

Week days: 08:00 or 17:00 - 18:00

Weekends: 0900 - 10:00 or 17:00 - 18:00

(Alternative times may be available upon request.)

Please note:

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. In the event of cancellations, the deposit is non-refundable.


The remaining payment is required in full at the start of the dog's stay.  We accept BACS payments, and cash.


I am licensed by The New Forest District Council, as required by the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963.
